I’m stuck at Alba, An Introduction

* * * * * * * *The Time Traveler’s Wife SPOILER ALERT * * * * * * * * * *
To start with, this is a really good book (author Audrey Niffenegger). Henry, a chrono-impaired librarian cannot keep himself in the present and time travels without control or any logical pattern. He vanishes leaving his piles of clothes to end up somewhere in time naked and hungry. During his travels, he meets his wife Clare, who was only 6 years old at that time.
It’s a page-turner, but yah, I got stuck at this chapter. Caught the baby blues i guess!
See, when the time traveller & his wife decided to have a baby, they failed. Was it six times?.. i forget.. Anyways, the baby in the womb kept dying due to faulty genes from the dad. They were doing their best to work with doctors, geneticists, even using drug cocktails from the future but all failed, and at one point Henry gave up already. During these chapters, I could relate to the max. Somehow. Mostly, during the baby please come soon moments Clare was having.
And so, Henry from the future comes to visit Clare & assures her that in their future, they do have a child. Meanwhile real-time Henry was in a clinic about to get a vasectomy! ..I won’t explain anymore how but Clare did get pregnant & that’s when I stopped reading.
